MIZZO

Charlotte, NC

Mizzo has been rocking dance floors since 2001, building his name around groovy, infectious rhythms, bass-heavy anthems and the energy of introducing new music to a crowd. Born in Winston-Salem and later relocating to Charlotte, he developed through club residencies across North Carolina before expanding to headline venues throughout the United States.

In 2014, Mizzo moved into production and developed a signature style centered on broken-beat bass music, originals and remixes. His sound is rooted in bass pressure, rhythmic breaks and the freedom to move between fresh records, originals and remixes without losing the room.

Along the way he has performed as direct support for the likes of Stanton Warriors, DJ Icey, Deekline, DJ Magic Mike, DJ Dan, Keith Mackenzie, Dieselboy and more, at venues including Greene Street Nightclub and Limelight.
